25 Following discussions with Digital Jersey and the Government of Jersey telecom operators in the island (JT Sure & Homenet) have agreed that all fibre broadband connections will be increased to a symmetrical 1 Gbit/s at no extra cost. Doing so will assist amongst other things the significant increase in home-working and home-isolating as Islanders adapt to the measures being put in place to contain the spread of COVID-19. 26
